Visionary Artist

Kim Layton was born and raised in Detroit Michigan in a family of twelve children. She is a Mother of three Sons and Grandmother of five Grand daughters. Kim's inspiration for art was nurtured and encouraged by her Father, a portrait Artist and graphic Designer.

Kim says that when painting Angels, her spirit is relaxed and in tune with Holy Spirit. Kim says, "When I ask the Holy Spirit to come and paint through me the Holy Spirit creates the best paintings. I love to celebrate the God-given gift and share it with others."

Kim has facilitated art therapy workshops for teen girls in recovery. This type of artistic modality, releases emotions on a subconscious level, allows the client to "be in the moment" while experiencing self expression on the canvass. Fees include all materials, transportation and services. $75 per person, with a four person minimum and six person maximum.

Kim will be offering her "painting from spirit" workshops.
