Kim Layton was born and raised in Detroit Michigan in a family of twelve children. She is a Mother of three Sons and Grandmother of five Grand daughters. Kim's inspiration for art was nurtured and encouraged by her Father, a portrait Artist and graphic Designer. Kim says that when painting Angels, her spirit is relaxed and in tune with Holy Spirit. Kim says, "When I ask the Holy Spirit to come and paint through me the Holy Spirit creates the best paintings. I love to celebrate the God-given gift and share it with others." Kim has facilitated art therapy workshops for teen girls in recovery. This type of artistic modality, releases emotions on a subconscious level, allows the client to "be in the moment" while experiencing self expression on the canvass. Fees are $175 per person, materials included, for a 3-4 hour workshop with a four person minimum and six person maximum. Kim will be offering her "painting from spirit" workshops. Come and join Kim to expand the Artist in you through a guided meditation to recieve techniques for more expression through your spirit. October 15th, 2011: Kim will be hosting a spirit art workshop in Augusta, GA at the Balanced Body Spa. This session will feature guided meditation and will cost $135.

ArtWorks are $195.00 per original piece or $125.00 for color copy plus shipping and handling. Pieces are 11" x 16". Exceptions: Archangel Metatron which is $250.00 for original and $135.00 for color copy at 16" X20", and Mystical Morning which is $95.00 plus shipping for 16" X 20" copy and $125.00 for 12" X 16".
